Today we pray for the students, teachers and administrative staff at Arlington’s private and home schools, and those at local campuses of colleges and universities. Lord Jesus, when you were on earth you “grew in wisdom and stature,” and so you intimately and experientially know what it is to be a student, learning in the home and in classes. You are the also great Teacher, in whom is all truth and insight. We pray for your image bearers, both students and teachers, in less traditional settings. Whether students are learning at home or in a private school, or pursuing advanced degrees while working, we pray you help them also grow in wisdom and stature. We pray for your image bearers who serve as teachers and staff, that you would enable them to instruct and care for students well, and would feel encouraged and supported. And may they all flourish as they connect more closely to you, others, themselves and your creation. Amen.
