Today we pray for the patients, medical staff and administrators at the Arlington Free Clinic. Lord, as our Creator you have “fearfully and wonderfully made” us, intimately knowing every fiber of our being. You are the Great Physician, who miraculously healed the blind, the lame, the leper and the sick when you walked the earth. You also created animals and tell us in your Word to care for their welfare. We pray for your image bearers who suffer physically today, yet lack the resources to provide for their own care. Grant them healing, of body, mind, and spirit. We pray for your image bearers at the Arlington Free Clinic who serve as medical staff and caregivers, that you would give them wisdom, skill and compassion as they treat patients under their care. And may your image bearers flourish as they connect more closely to you, others, themselves and your creation. Amen.
