Yorktown Students Serve

Several Yorktown High School National Honor students volunteered their time on February 15th to assemble “Magic Island” craft packages for the children of disadvantaged families who visit the food pantry. It’s a reflection of our commitment that we serve not only material needs, but emotional and social needs as well. The craft packages help families feel valued and recognized as whole people, and not just as people in need of food assistance. Thank you to our friends at Yorktown High School!
