Today we pray for the centers in Arlington that display art, help us remember our history, or teach us new ideas. Lord, you are the greatest Artist, creating everything out of nothing and then stepping back to take it all in, declaring it “very good.” You reign over all history, and tell us to remember our past. You created the diverse peoples of the world and their cultures, that they may “seek and find you.” And so we pray for your image bearers who serve as artists, curators and story tellers, that they may help us know and appreciate the city you have sent us to. May their work help us flourish and be a richer community.
